Ryan is 2

so I am a little late posting this as for I have been sick with a cold and now Ryan has it too and is trying to get 2 yr molars also. Ugh So we had birthday parties with Thomas cakes as Ryan says. He got lots of stuff and had a good time. He is now 28 lbs and 34 1/2 inches tall which is average size and weight for kids his age. He used to be above average on height but now isn't?!? oh well he is far from average cause he is too damn smart for his own good. He knows all the letters in the alphabet and can count to 13 in numbers. He loves his cartoons and knows everybodys name, even all the trains on Thomas cartoons. He loves the Dukes of hazzard too just like his daddy! ugh for me lol He knows lots of words and makes some of the darndest things to say... picks up a phone and says "Hello its me Ryan whatcha talkin bout???" or "Follow me mommy to the kitchen!" get there he wants a cookie the says "Follow me mommy to the TV!" hmm gonna have to learn to get himself a cookie but wait he knows that tooo!!! nothing is safe unless its behind a locked door!

so here he is at home eating his cake like a "big boy" by himself with no help from mommy!

Ryan says the darndest things!

So I am out at the kitchen sink this morning doing up dishes from last nite to keep myself busy so I don't have to watch cartoons with Ryan and he comes running out with a stuffed toy baseball. He throws it on the floor and says to me Baseball splash! He thinks if he throws stuff it splashes like in the bath tub. Anyways, he then proceeds to kick the baseball and says to me Soccor! Apparently if you throw the ball its a baseball and if you kick the ball it is a soccor ball. hmm where does he come up with some of this stuff cause I never told him about soccor balls just the baseball!?!? Then I needed to go to town to get a couple things at the store so we go out to get in the car and he says to me Burr! the wind was blowing at the time, and then tells me Sunshine oooh nice! Yes the sunshine was nice and warm, smart kid. The other day when it was raining outside he says to me Rain ooh wet, yucky! Lol Can't wait for the snow to fly to see what will come out of his mouth! We were sitting at the table eating lunch and he says to me that Ray's cake was broken and that the hotdog he was eating was also broken. So he finished his hotdog and wanted some cake so I get the cake and take off the lid and he starts to tell me that we need candles for the cake, so he got over that idea and gets ahold of the cake and takes a bite and tells me Yummy cake! Thanks god someone likes my cooking! :)

Ryan 20 months

Ryan turned 20 months on the 10th. He weighs about 28 lbs and is about 33 in tall. He knows way too much stuff for someone his age I think, knows most of the alphabet, how to count to 13 only missing a couple numbers, all the cartoons people by name, the engines on Thomas the train and much much more. He loves to go shopping at memart (Kmart) and Wallmart, and P&C now Tops where he says food is yummy!! He eats just about anything except veggies and hamburger. Only one problem little weasel won't sleep thru the nite yet! :( He is up twice a nite and it is driving me NUTS!!! Well I guess that's all for now he wants to go down stairs!
